Ziel: Gaffel am Dom

Vom Friesenplatz bis zum Dom: Streetphotography & Architektur

Wir starten am Friesenplatz und machen uns auf den Weg quer durch die Kölner Innenstadt. Über die Ringe und durch versteckte Seitenstraßen steuern wir direkt auf die Altstadt zu. Unterwegs treffen Gegensätze aufeinander: spiegelnde Glasfassaden stehen im Kontrast zu rauem Nachkriegsbeton, während die Passanten im warmen Nachmittagslicht zu perfekten Motiven werden. Wir halten Ausschau nach Kanten, Linien und Perspektiven, die oft erst durch den Sucher sichtbar werden. Unser Ziel ist der Dom – einer der belebtesten Orte der Stadt –, wo wir den Photo Walk an einer ikonischen Kulisse ausklingen lassen. Wer mag, schließt sich danach auf ein frisches Kölsch im traditionsreichen Brauhaus Gaffel am Dom an.

Destination: Gaffel am Dom

From Friesenplatz to the Cathedral: Street & Architecture Photography

Starting at Friesenplatz, we’ll forge a path right through Cologne’s city center. Winding past the Boulevard, through quiet side streets, and straight into the Old Town, this walk is all about contrasts: modern glass facades against post-war concrete structures, framed by pedestrians caught in the afternoon light. Keep an eye out for geometry, hard edges, and leading lines that only truly pop once you look through the viewfinder. We’ll finish right at the Cologne Cathedral, capturing the energy of one of the city's most vibrant spots, before wrapping up the day at the historic Gaffel am Dom brewhouse.
